I will be honest when I say I really don’t know why MLB bothers me so much with there steroids equals Home Runs idealism. And I was taking a look at all the HR Leaders for the last 100 or so years and noticed a few things. First off is how Ryan Howard lead the NL with 48 and Miquel Cabrera only hit 37 to lead the AL, and though these numbers are lower, but there not that off from recent years with the exception to 1998 – 2001. What I also noticed was that back in 1961 Roger Maris (61 HRs) and…
Some say that erotic thoughts cross the male mind every seven seconds, but is it really so? One fundamental study held by Kinsey Institute (the oldest sex and reproduction study center) discovered that 54% of men think about sex several times a day. This is rather conservative discovery, since according to the study only 19% of women think about sex as often. Those thoughts greatly distract from the everyday activities. A survey held by the Men’s Health magazine revealed that 80% of men make dirty fantasies at work. What are they fantasizing about? The study made by Durex company showed…
I took an hour and a half of my day to read the release of the hearing of Government Reform on December 14 2007 involving Vince McMahon. This was the best reading since I read Anthony Roberts’ first book. Never have I seen a more eloquent manhandling of such a committee, he spoke with confidence and never gave in to their traps. This is the type of education many Baseball Players should have sought out before testifying and a few certain Football Players can learn from. The men and women that form these committees didn’t get where they are by…
Andre Arlovski’s Boxing Coach, Freddie Roach, doesn’t think too highly of Fedor Emelianenko’s stand up game. Who is Freddie Roach you may ask. Freddie Roach has trained some of Boxing’s biggest stars including Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya, Bernard Hopkins, Mike Tyson, Michael Moorer and James Toney. For that, his comments seem to have some validity. Nobody knows punching better than the folks in boxing. Here is what Roach had to say about Fedor. “As far as his stand up game, we’ll kill him,” says Roach. “If we can keep the fight standing up, if he chooses to fight…
Mixed Martial Arts is still alive in the underground. Back before sanctioned MMA fights struck the globe, many underground fight clubs existed where fight fans could illegally place bets and watch two competitors beat the crap out of each other. Today, there are still underground fight clubs that exist. They can be found, but you have to know where to look for them. Extreme Catfighting is one of them and it has a unique spin. It is all girl on girl. Here is a brief clip on this organization.
Yes ladies and gentlemen Obama has already surpassed Bush in the good decision department and he hasn’t even started his four year tenure. Sanjay Gupta happens to be a great choice for the Pro-Steroid community because this is an educated man with self respect and known for his truthful renderings of touchy topics. He isn’t content on writing fluffed based bullshit because people want him to, nope he looks at both sides and writes what he finds to be true. Like in an article he wrote in February where he stated So it makes you wonder: If steroids are such…
New York Yankees’ relief pitcher Sergio Mitre has been suspended for 50 games for violating Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Like JC Romero, Mitre used an over the counter supplement purchased at a major retailer and tested positive for Androstenedione, the steroid precursor made famous by Mark McGwire in 1998 and later banned by MLB. The supplement was said to have contained a “contaminant” amount of Andro even though it was not listed as an ingredient. Mitre accepted responsibility despite the circumstances. “Although being suspended for 50 games is tough to accept, I think that it…
Philadelphia Phillies relief pitcher, JC Romero has been suspended for 50 Games for violating Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. ESPN’s Peter Gammons provided a detailed account of the whole process. Romero’s suspension is the result of two failed tests (Aug. 29 and Sept. 19), the second just one month before Romero won games three and five (the clinching game) of the World Series. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Romero had used 6-OXO Extreme, a substance he bought over the counter in the United States. The Major League Baseball Players’ Association (MLBPA) had previously told the players…
Shogun and Ninja have been training their younger brother to be the next professional Mixed Martial Artist in their family. Their younger brother Marcos “Baby” Rua will is expected to make his MMA debut in the next few months. “He’s well, training tough and much focused. He would fight at The Glory, that would happen at January, but was delayed to March, but we want to see him fighting before”, said Shogun. This I have to say is turning out to be one tough family. We have seen some good things from both Ninja and Shogun, I can’t wait…
The second most important Arnold Classic competition won’t see two most promising bodybuilding stars this year. Phil Heath, who surprisingly finished third on Olympia 2008 after Dexter Jackson and Jay Cutler, decided to skip Arnold Classic to focus on Olympia 2009. He promises to hit the stage in perfect form weighing 240 pounds. Dennis Wolf also informed about his decision to miss Arnold Classic.…
