According to National Cancer Institute (NCI), excessive consumption of vitamins is linked to an increased risk of fatal prostate cancer. NCI study involved 295 344 men who were asked to give a detailed information about their vitamin supplements consumption. The study lasted 6 years, detecting prostate cancer in 10 241 participants. Findings have shown that approximately the same number of men from each group – whatever their vitamin consumption levels – developed the disease. However, men who took multivitamins in excess (5% of participants) had higher risk of aggressive form of prostate cancer and death. According to scientists, men who…

For that, I felt it was necessary to rank from one to ten, the hottest ring girls of all time. This is strictly my opinion, and it’s a damn good one, but I would love to hear your…
Those who got a chance to watch UFC 92, also got a chance to see the newest UFC ring girl, Logan Stanton. Logan got her first chance to step into the Octagon saturday night and almost started a riot. She was looking hotter than lesbian night at the playboy mansion. This girl will be sure to turn heads and earn more fans for the UFC. Heres a great backside shot for all the ass and leg men and women out there! Here is Logan with the Queen of Ring Girls, Arianny Celeste! Double the fun!
Damn, you know Forrest Griffins grill is hurting today. Rashad Evans gave his face a pounding. It always amazes me some of the shots these fighters take once they are either dazed or knocked out. The left handers that Rashad was pouring on Griffin towards the end of their fight were square on the face and completely undefended. The ref probably could have stopped it about three punches earlier. Here is a clip of the beating that Forrest took.
First off, I’d like to congratulate Frank Mir on his outstanding performance in this “interim” title fight vs. Nogueira. Frank truly put on a showing, and proved he is a true student of the game, as Joe Rogan mentions during the fight, Mir is always watching fights and studying the game. Frank has never looked better. Everyone knows Frank has never quit, and after this comeback and the road he is currently on, he said it best, “anyone can do it.” As long as they put in the effort such as he did that is. Joe Rogan stated Frank is…
Official list of competitors for “Arnold Sports Festival 2009″ was released on December 22, 2008. The event will be held next year on March 6-8, 2009. Sixty two athletes received their invitations to Columbus to participate in tournaments such as professional bodybuilding, body-fitness, and fitness. Jim Lorimer, one of the festival’s organizers, said that those athletes will amaze the visitors once again in this magnificent talent and fitness show. Victor Martinez deserves special attention, as because of the injury he missed not only the Arnold Classic, but also the entire 2008 competition season. Will Martinez be able to show the…
They say he is one of the greatest heavyweight fighters of all time. He is said to have an amazing tolerance for pain and the comeback power of a zombie. Even though he has been one of the coaches of the latest “The Ultimate Fighter” show, many fight fans, however, have not seen many of Nogueira’s fights. Despite his great accomplishments, this man is still a mystery to many fans. For that reason, I figured I would show a Nogueira highlight flick. I hope this will give the fight fans a glimpse of who he is as a fighter.
The National Cancer Institute and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center destroyed the popular myth according to which tomatoes are good for men’s heath. Their latest findings show, tomato can not help prevent prostate cancer, while up till now it was believed to have such effect. This conclusion was reached after conduction of the largest analysis in the history of science. The analysis examined histories of 28 000 people. The list consisted of absolutely healthy white older men. They underwent medical examination for a number of years in a row. It was believed that tomatoes protect against prostate cancer, since they…
Protein is essential for recovering and building up muscle tissues. Amino acids, provided by proteins, form building blocks for all cells in our body. Our internal organs, hair, immune system and all other systems in the body can’t exist without proteins. Bodybuilders have to get as many proteins as it’s needed for both supporting body functions and muscle recovering after workouts. Daily protein intake for bodybuilders has been discussed among sports doctors for many years. Many bodybuilders stick to the following formula: 2.5-3 grams of protein per 1 kg of body weight. If you have less, the processes for recovery…
Here is a little snap shot of the HBO 24/7 series “Andrei Arlovski 360″. I absolutely love hype videos like this. I hate to say it, but the whole Rocky Balboa story line really makes a fight fan grow to like a fighter. Before the movie, you never heard of the fighter. You watch the hype show and next thing you know, your rooting for the guy. Somehow, these shows and movies that show the background on the fighters and show the fighters’ lives and the every day grind of being a fighter, tend to make us feel like we…
