On Monday, the four finalists were announced for the 2010 Heisman Trophy Award. The presentation takes place in New York on Saturday. Last time I looked TCU doesn’t have any losses. Their defense stood up strong all season and they’re going to be on the outside looking in. This isn’t any different from Auburn’s undefeated season in which they ended up third in the final BCS standings back in 2003. Auburn felt jilted then and so should TCU now. Today, Georgia fired it’s Defensive Coordinator (Willie Martinez) and 2 other defensive assistants and I have to say I’m surprised. Tuesday night, on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Magic Johnson announced that he would be joining former Timberwolves owner Tim Leiweke and AEG in an effort to bring an NFL franchise to Los Angeles. According to Minnesota Vikings vice president of public affairs, Lester Bagley, the Midwest NFL franchise has been targeted recently by AEG. In 2009, Vikings owner Zygi Wilf and management toured L.A. Live (an entertainment complex in the cit), but Bagley says that was only to get ideas to build a similar complex in Minnesota.
