I have been in conversation after conversation about the popular peptides, such as HGH, IGF, MGF, GHRP, and several others that linger the steroid world. But I have to say I can never get a definite answer on the quality of gains, and if they are maintainable. Some have the opinion that all forms are useless, while others believe that HGH has its place, and maybe IGF tags along. Then there is the ones who believe good gains can be attained with these assistants as is. The final school of thought is that the main peptides (HGH, IGF, MGF) have…
According to Jeff Pearlman’s new book about Roger Clemens, The Rocket That Fell To Earth, former MLB catcher and Clemens foe, Mike Piazza, used steroids and admitted it to at least one unnamed reporter. The book traces Clemens life from being born in Dayton, Ohio, to becoming a Major League superstar and prominent player in the steroid era. The portions about Piazza have received the most press leading up to the book’s release, March 24. Deadspin first published excerpts about Piazza. As the hundreds of major league ballplayers who turned to performance-enhancing drugs throughout the 1990s did their absolute best…

Will the grudge between Matt Serra and Matt Hughes ever end? These two have been hating on each other for a long time now. I guess sometimes personalities just clash, and this certainly seems true for Matt Serra and Matt Hughes. Fortunately, MMA is a sport where a little grudge between two fighters simply makes the match up that more exciting. This factor can even make one wonder how many of these “grudges” are even real. It is well documented that fighters and fight match ups that have more hype tend to make more money. Is this the case between…

San Francisco Giants prospect, Kelvin Pichardo, tested positive for a performance enhancing drug and has been suspended 50 games for violating MLB’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Pichardo has never appeared in a major league game but was on the Giants 40-man roster and therefore subject to the major league portion of the drug agreement. He becomes the third player suspended in 2009 after Philadelphia Phillies reliever, JC Romero, and Florida Marlins pitcher, Sergio Mitre. Pichardo had already been optioned to Triple-A during spring training when the suspension was announced. The Giants released a fairly typical statement that included…
So I would like to apologize for not posting for like a week, I had a personal matter to take care of and so I was unavailable for a week. Now I was talking to AR today and we were speaking about how anti-steroid groups love to throw around erroneous stats, like steroids cause cancer…. Ok, if they do at such a high rate , were are the studies? They say ” Steroids cause you nuts to shrivel, true but they come back. My point is if they write this trash in an article, televise it on TV, or speak…
Middle-chain trigliceride, MCT, is perhaps the least known additive for bodybuilders nutrition. This additive presents unique type of fats, which have wide range of beneficial effects. They help increase dry muscle mass, reduce fat deposits, provide energy for pre-competition training. Despite their enormous practical benefits surprisingly enough not many people know about MCTs. It is traditionally believed that bodybuilders need to reduce their fat intake to the very minimum. However, those days some types of fat are even recommended for athletes. There is no doubt that fats are essential nutrients for the organism and serve important function. Fats act as…
Bodybuilders usually have a hard time getting those wide lower lats, while they have no trouble with upper lats. You will be pleasantly surprised to hear that you can easily get great lower lats by simply reversing your regular grip. Indeed underhand grip makes all the difference and helps you work some new muscles during your regular rowing exercise. Your lower lats will work to greater extent when you keep your hands in underhand position while pulling your arms back. In fact, upper lats are utilized during exercises which involve pulling elbows to the sides (for example wide-grip rows or…

It is about yearly blood work that needs to be done ( especially those over forty). On that note you need to get your blood work done while on cycle also, but that is for another day. So here it is: 10 most important tests that people over age 40 should take each year. 1. Complete Blood Count (CBC) – The best place to begin disease-prevention is the CBC’s. This panel will…
