NBA great Shaquille O’Neal has been training MMA for ten years now. According to his trainer Jonathan Burke, Shaq is like fighting a grizzly bear. Shaq has been training BJJ, Boxing and Muay Thai and is not only picking up skills quickly, but is apparently ready to start calling out guys like Chuck Liddell as he did on Twitter. While I don’t see this fight ever happening, I do believe that Shaq could cause some problems for Liddell based on Shaq’s size alone. Would Shaq win, that is doubtful, but possible. It is amazing how many professional athletes from sports…
You may have heard that boxing great Roy Jones Jr. is looking to get in to MMA and has recently challenged UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva. It seems he is ready to try something new. After seeing his music video, however, I think a transition into MMA would be a mistake. He should work harder on his music career. Here is a sample of his work. I think his song and his video are actually pretty decent. You never know, his rap career could take off. Watch out 50 Cent!
By Elias Dominguez Recently, the former best pound for pound boxer in the world, Roy Jones Jr., challenged Anderson Silva who is widely known as today’s current best pound for pound MMA fighter to a fight inside the UFC octagon. Roy Jones Jr.’s boxing career has been on the decline since 2004 when he was KO’d by Antonio Tarver in the 2nd round. On the other hand, we have Anderson Silva who has been so dominant in the UFC that he has to move up weight classes just to find some decent competition. Initially after hearing about this challenge from…
I came across this on my forum I frequent, and was about to write my own tell all on HGH , but it is nice to use anothers point of view, so here it is: My Guide to HGH for anyone interested ——————————————————————————– A Basic Guide to HGH – by RedBaron The intention of this guide is to give you a good basic working knowledge of HGH and how to intelligently use it. While this is not intended to cover every conceivable nuance of HGH use, it should provide you with a solid enough background to create your cycle around.…
Affliction’s Tom Atencio basically infers that he is the real deal because he is willing to get in the cage and fight. He insists that this first hand cage fighting experience brings him closer to the fighters and helps his business. He also goes on to say in his own words that Dana White has a loud bark, but no bite and believes White never intended to fight Tito Ortiz when the whole Dana White vs Tito Ortiz hype was going on. He basically calls out Dana White to back up his mouth. I am interested to see if this…
Rashad Evans has done what every fighter in the world wants to do, he has become the UFC’s light heavyweight champion. He did it by beating one of the best and most famous mixed martial artists in the world, Forrest Griffin. What more does Rashad have to prove? He needs to defend his title. The more times, the better.
I remember it like it was last season, Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonner in a 3 round war, exchanging hay-makers and leg kicks in what was arguably the most significant fight in MMA history. This battle put the UFC on the map and paved the way for where the UFC is today. With this epic battle, we tend to forget some of the other great fighters that made up The Ultimate Fighter season 1 cast; Diego Sanchez, Kenny Florian, Josh Koscheck. Ohh that Koscheck…yes he was a jerk and yes he got under people’s skin, but admittedly he did this…
Eduardo Correa Da Silva amazingly came out top in the Under 202 class. This was his first ever IFBB Professional League contest, but he overcame Mark Dugdale, who had been the hot favorite for this competition based on the precontest. Eduardo also beat many others to win the Under 202 show at the 2009 Pittsburgh Pro last Saturday. Mark Dugdale, who participated in the 202 class for the first time, came out second. Jason Arntz was third and clinched the last qualifying spot for the 202 Showdown on Olympia Weekend. Ahmad Ahmad and George Farah came out fourth and fifth…
Why is Gina Carano so loved by the MMA fans? Take a look at this. If you are a straight man or a lesbian gal and you say Gina Carano’s lip bite action isn’t hot, you are either a lying sack of shit or you have no taste! Gina may be a damn good female Mixed Martial Artist, but at the end of the day, it’s her unbelievable hotness that has made her an icon.
For a bodybuilder there are so many options of grips, but not enough time to do them all. Pulldowns, which help expand the lats, can be a tough one to decide on. They can fuel the upper lats, but which exercise works the best in shaping that V-taper is difficult to figure out.> Pulldown Techniques Wide-Grip Pulldowns You need to firmly plant an overhand grip, as wide apart as possible, on a lat bar attached to the high pulley of a lat pulldown machine. While you pull the bar down, make sure that you keep your chest straight up and…
