When I read the blog below I thought about a few things, first off it was pretty ballsy for AR to throw himself under the boat to prove the dysfunction of the supplement game. I also know of maybe 3 supplements all time that have been comparable to steroids ( mostly because they converted to ), but almost every supplement tries to make the same claim. I also was informed of many responses , by the people that were pointed out. I have a lot of respect for the few that stood up and said yes I did that, but…

The New York Daily News’ Tracy Conner is reporting details from Selena Roberts soon to be released book, A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez. According to Conner, Roberts claims that Rodriguez may have been using steroids as early as high school as well as during his time with the New York Yankees beginning in 2004. Roberts and David Epstein first reported that Rodriguez had tested positive for Primobolan (an anabolic steroid) and testosterone in 2003. Two days later Rodriguez admitted using a “banned substance” nicknamed “Boli” from 2001 to 2003 while with the Texas Rangers. Claims that Rodriguez used…

To any bodybuilder, testosterone is the most essential tool and cortisol is the bane. Testosterone is an enormously anabolic hormone that influences the growth of muscles. In contrast, cortisol is a very catabolic hormone that contributes to the breakdown of muscles. Thus the ratio of testosterone to cortisol helps scientists determine whether an athlete is in an anabolic or catabolic condition. An athlete will be less anabolic and more catabolic as this ratio decreases. Cortisol and Your Body High cortisol levels not…

The level of testosterone, the male hormone than aids muscle growth, is different in each person, just like the metabolism rate. So if you want to increase your body mass, then you need to ensure that your testosterone levels don’t decrease. Your muscles should be roused completely for growth, but they also need time to recover, because the expansion is a part of the healing. And don’t forget to take supplements like Vitamin C and PS. If you want to grow as fast as a…

As you may have heard already there is a new company named Kalpa Pharmaceuticals, and to say the least , it has stirred up some opinions.  Since I have been involved in that opinion, I figure it is my responsibility to clarify. Let me say before I start that I did receive a trial run of  a few of such products, and as you know that can become the root of all evil within our community. But I have to tell you my opinion nor my self-respect is for sale, so when I accepted the opportunity I explained full well that a…

I recently had the pleasure of reading Chuck Liddell’s book “Iceman – My Fighting Life”. I was traveling for business and my flight was delayed almost 6 hours. With nothing to do, I figured I could dip into the book store and see if anything grabbed my attention. I’m not a big reader, so most of everything I saw in the book store didn’t grab my interest even slightly. The only book I thought might be a little interesting was “Iceman – My Fighting Life”, so I figured I would give it a shot. After all I did have 6…
