Prosecution against persons connected with the notorious underground lab known as Hell Fire Labs is spreading further and involves more states. Charges against five more individuals for distributing anabolic steroids have been pressed recently by Mary Beth Buchanan and Mary Houghton, prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania. David Edward Retter (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania) is charged with providing sufficient equipment to set up a fully operational lab. Retter protests vehemently against being implicated into the affair. He refuses to be regarded as a big steroid dealer and claims that he “was out of the thing for…

Bars and clubs usually have those big tough looking dudes wearing “security” shirts, called bouncers, who are supposed to take care of any trouble that comes in the bar or club. But what happens when that trouble is one of the toughest guys on the planet? What is a bouncers worst nightmare? A guy like Alistair Overeem. Lets face it, most bouncers are big, and some bouncers are tough, but Overeem is very big and extremely tough. According to Fighters Only Magazine, five unlucky bouncers got an opportunity (well, some would call it an opportunity) to scuffle with 6′5″ 230 lb…

Our friend Johnny Testa over at AskMen.com provided us with this awesome Rashad Evans Interview.  Evans gave up all kinds of good information including details on his technical and physical training as well as his diet.  You may or may not be surprised to hear that Rashad Evans never cheats on his diet, not even a little bit, when he is training for a fight.  You wouldn’t either if cheating on your diet made you feel like you just “had sex with a dirty prostitute”.  Or would you?  Anyways, here is the “training” portion of the interview: Which fighting styles do…

Martin Kampmann beat the WEC 170 lb Champion, Carlos Condit at Ultimate Fight NIght 18.  This is a big accomplishment for any up and coming 170 pounder, and big fights with even bigger names were sure to come right?  Wrong.  Instead of being matched up with a UFC veteran who has built a name for himself, the UFC has tried to match Kampmann up against a UFC new comer, T.J. Grant. According to Versus.com, Kampmann had turned down the fight with Grant in hopes of scoring a fight with an opponent who has a bigger name and higher rankings.  Let’s face it, in…

If you ask the average citizen, they would say we live in the land of the free. And, regarding freedom, we have clearly become more so over the past 50 years (with, perhaps, a nod to the Bush-era infractions); issues like institutional racism, sexism, etc… are less prominent than ever before (though they’re still an issue). We, average citizens, profess to believe in the idea that we are innocent until proven guilty. But even in this enlightened age, the Applied Pharmacy steroid case seems to contradict that last statement. Applied Pharmacy was registered in the state of Alabama, was fully…

I got into a discussion with several people over 3 different forums, and it all started with a post in which someone was talking about his Test dose of 1500 mgs. Now I understand that there are people out that don’t react to test, so more must be administered, but that is only 1 % of the cases. The rest are either Bodybuilders , or are exceptionally impatient, I know I said this before but it is very true; Less is ALWAYS more when it comes to Anabolic Steroids. It all starts with your first cycle, I try to recommend…

With disappointing performances in his first three UFC fights, Mirco “Cro Cop” Filipovic is looking to reenter the UFC with a bang, regain his respect and deliver fights the fans want to see. On is blog, Filipovic said to Dana White: “I owe you a lot from our first deal, and I’ll make it up to you,” wrote Filipovic. He admits, “I didn’t do well in my first three appearances – I wasn’t myself,” he wrote. “By returning to the cage I want to prove that I can still fight at highest level, no matter when or where. The where…

Though many were looking forward to seeing Rashad Evans take on Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, there’s nothing quite like a battle of the undefeated. And that’s exactly what we’re up against this Saturday night at UFC 98. The undefeated light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans (13-0-1) will be taking on Lyoto Machida, also undefeated at (14-0). Evans, who broke into UFC after coming out on top in season two of The Ultimate Fighter, has proven time and time again that he’s more than just your average, All-American wrestler. His knock-out power is a force to be reckoned with, destroying fighters Jason Lambert,…

When guys like Kevin Randleman, Georges St. Pierre, Bas Rutten, Frank Mir and Tim Sylvia talk about Fedor Emelianenko it is with amazing respect.  These are fighters who know what they are talking about and the only thing they have to say about Fedor Emeliaenko is how bad ass he is and how there is no better MMA fighter in the world in any weight class.  Probably the only person who disputes this is Dana White, who obviously is doing it for business reasons.  If Fedor was contracted with the UFC, I guarantee Dana White would not be trying to…
