Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans, both former light heavyweight champions, will coach heavyweight fighters in the upcoming 10th season of the TUF. Season 10 will follow two teams of larger fighters—something the show hasn’t done since back in Season 2, when Evans won the show. This will be Jackson’s second coaching stint in four seasons. The coaching stints mean that the fighters won’t themselves fight again until the end of the year, and postpones a possible Jackson v. Machida in the fall. The bad blood between the two fighters should add some drama to the already rowdy show. USA Today…

Even though former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans lost his belt to Lyoto Machida at UFC 98, he still left with more money in his pocket. $200K to be exact compared to Machida’s $140K (that’s including the $70K win bonus.) Not a bad way to lose, if you ask me. Had Evans won, he would’ve made an additional $175K. Another top earner of the evening was Matt Hughes, matching Evans’ $200K, that’s including his $100K win bonus. While his defeated opponent, Serra left with $75K compensation. The other combatants’ earnings can be seen here: -Drew McFedries: $34,000 ($17,000 win bonus)…

The Los Angeles Times has the complete breakdown of the Manny Ramirez suspension. Ramirez was ultimately suspended for a Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) prescription found after a spring training drug test revealed elevated levels of testosterone. Elevated testosterone levels are discovered through a testosterone-epitestosterone (T:E) ratio test. A normal T:E ratio is 1:1. According to the Times, Ramirez’s was at least 4:1. Ramirez had intended to appeal a potential suspension for elevated testosterone by arguing that the spike in his T:E ratio was caused by Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). DHEA is an over-the-counter testosterone booster banned by the Olympics and other professional…

I know I have been up front about my dream of cleaning up the steroid community, and I also admitted I cannot do it myself. Thhen 2 weeks ago, Anthony Roberts calls me and states: I am getting a new site together , that would be like an internet Newspaper about steroids and it’s culture. I want you to be involved, and then he lists off 10 authors that I know quite well. To be honest it was quite a honor to be offered ( and was one of the first to be offered) to write with the likes of…

If you missed UFC 98, you missed one of the coolest UFC’s ever. Matt Serra and Matt Hughes had a chance to bang out there differences in a 3 round all out war. At the end, the two actually treated one another with the respect each deserves and seemingly squashed their grudge. Matt Hughes came out in phenomenal condition and looked like he was in as good of shape as ever. While Matt Serra didn’t look like he was in quite as good of shape, he did remarkably well against Hughes. In the end, Serra was unable to swing the judges decision…
