Here is a good looking King of the Cage ring girl. Apparently she doesn’t have a name, age or any interests worth listing because the King of the Cage web site didn’t list any. None the less, shes hot, shes attractive and best of all she’s good looking. She might even hold a card good, but I don’t know. Enjoy
Many people think how to throw a punch is common knowledge. They figure since they grew up slugging their little brother and punching out the bully at school, they are experienced pugilists. According to Bruce Everett Miller, who is a 6th degree black belt in the style of Quan Li K’an and teaches martial arts, many people do not use proper arm alignment when they swing. Throwing punches without proper alignment will not only be less effective against your opponent, but it may also put you at risk of boxer fracture or a wrist injury. Here are Bruce’s tips to…
The answer is yes. As a street brawler Kimbo certainly looks like a force to be recond with. However that opinion has been largely determind by people who have seen Kimbo’s street fights, not necessarily by MMA fans. A street fight and a professional MMA fight are very different, and the people who watch those fights are different as well. What’s the difference you ask? The difference is the knowledge level of the spectators. As MMA becomes a more popular sport around the globe, MMA fans are becoming more and more knowledgeable about the sport. Lets face it, you can…
It has been proven. Uriah Faber has shown the world that he is the 145 champ and it’s not looking like anyone will be taking away his belt any time soon. In an all out war, Jens Pulver and Uriah Faber banged it out for 5 full, action packed rounds. It was hands down, one of the best fights I have ever seen. While Pulver showed his heart and iron jaw, Faber kept bringing devastation in every way possible. Many people under estimated Faber, as stated in my earlier article, because he has not fought many big MMA names during…
What the heck has the world come to? Professional MMA fighters are now endorsing beer. Yes, I realize that Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell and Anderson Silva are huge stars, but endorsing beer? I don’t know about all that. MMA is obviously a sport to entertain adults, but the fact of the matter is that there are kids all over the world who do watch these fights and do look up to these guys as some of the top athletes in the world. Do you think they might be sending the wrong message? Drinking beer can be fun, and even I…
Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt smashed the world records for the 100 meter and 200 meter track events at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Bolt’s amazing performances were not normal and simply unbelievable leading to widespread suspicion that he must have used anabolic steroids. He has denied steroid use although his father has attributed Usain Bolt’s incredible speed to Trelawny yams. But according to his dad, it is his love of yams which has really propelled him to stardom. “It is definitely the Trelawny yam,” Wellesley Bolt told reporters. The yam grown in Trelawny is one of the staples for citizens of the…
Here is a hilarious video. I love it when someone is showboating and it backfires in their face. This is a perfect example of what not to do in a fight. Dancing isn’t fighting. This guy should get a sweat suit, a ghetto blaster, and a piece of cardboard and head up to San Francisco if he wants to make money. He’s too much of a clown to be a professional fighter.
Is MMA a place for the old? It’s hard to say. On one hand it’s easy to understand that with all the physical strength and endurance needed to be a top level MMA fighter, younger people, who are in their prime would have a huge advantage. On the other hand, you have fighters like Randy Couture who are defying the odds. Maybe a little time in the saddle can make up for some of the physical deterioration that comes with aging. Here’s an article that talks about another “older” fighter looking to get back into MMA in a big way. …
Kenny Florian is on a mission to be the best 155 pound fighter on the planet. After beating Roger Huerta at UFC 87, Kenny is now looking forward to his next fight, possibly with Joe Daddy Stevenson. According to MMA Weekley, this fight could take place as early as November along with the much hoped for match between BJ Penn and Georges St. Pierre. All in all, it is looking like the UFC is adding up a pretty exciting fight card. The match between BJ Penn and Georges St. Pierre could be one of the best showings of MMA talent…
