I have to say I really enjoyed watching the 23 year old 209 phenomenon Nick Diaz take on Josh Neer. This was a great battle and a very close match. There was some good striking, some great judo throws and some amazing back and forth jiu-jitsu. This is what MMA is all about people. A battle of skill and will. Nate Diaz emerged from the match victorious from a split decision and gave props to Josh Neer as a very worth opponent.
I was also really enjoyed the Alan Belcher V.S. Ed Herman fight. This fight was also very evenly matched and displayed a back and forth war of great striking by Belcher and decent ground and pound form fro Herman. I have to say that Herman has a tough jaw as he took some hard shots from Belcher. Belcher showed some quite improved take down defense even though he was taken down several times. Belcher finally won by split decision.
All in all I was very pleased with the MMA action. Many times Pay Per View fights disappoint so it was refreshing to see such great MMA action for free. I hope you got a chance to see it.
