The muscles of the neck rotate and flex the neck backwards and forwards in addition to side to side. Even when you turn your head, your neck muscles do all the work to support your head. Exercising the neck and using proper form relieves stiffness and loosens the neck muscles, so the tendons and nerves are stimulated. Most neck exercises can be performed while seated or standing unless otherwise directed. The first exercise for the neck is very simple and can be done throughout the day to help keep the kinks away. You basically place your head and neck in…
There are a variety of methods in which to cook food, so whether frying, stir-frying, sauteing, grilling, braising, baking, microwaving, broiling, steaming, roasting, or poaching, which is the healthiest method of cooking. Frying – although not the healthiest of methods within which to cook food, fried food is often tasty but also contains many calories. Food is fried in the already melted liquidised fat. Many foods soak up fats like a sponge. Take bread for example. Fried bread can soak up a lot of fat. In order to reduce the calories used during this method, use a tiny amount of…
LYON, France, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ — In response to an ever-increasing number of websites supplying dangerous and illegal medicines, Operation Pangea II, involving 24 countries, was coordinated by INTERPOL and the World Health Organization’s International Medical Products Anti-Counterfeiting Taskforce (IMPACT) to highlight the dangers of buying medicines online. The week long global initiative resulted in a series of arrests and the seizure of thousands of potentially harmful medical products. “Our primary goal in Operation Pangea II is to protect the public by removing counterfeit and illicit medicines from the market, by shutting down illegal sales on the web, and by…

p>I’ve spent the last few UFC events doing previews of all the televised fights. This time around, I’m feeling a little more risky. While I’m no expert, I feel it’s time to test my knowledge of the sport by predicting each fight. I’m going to pick each winner and means of victory (by KO, Decision or Submission). I’ll keep tabs on my record for the rest of 2009 to see how well I do. On to the fights as once again, the UFC is giving the fans two free fights on the undercard. The first is a matchup between Ultimate…
Although the UFC 106 card took a couple big blows when Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was forced to withdraw from his scheduled title defense against Shane Carwin due to illness and when Karo Parisyan pulled out of his scheduled matchup with Dustin Hazelett, the organization still managed to piece together a very nice card for fight fans. Time for a look at the main card matchups. Amir Sodallah vs. Phil Baroni: Baroni will be fighting in the UFC for the first time in well over four years when he takes on former TUF winner Sodallah. There are plenty of question marks in this fight. Sodallah…
So I watched it on TV today for the 10th time, and I am not sure why I keep watching it, especially since it aggravates the shit out of me. Not because the guys, including the nutritionist , are clueless. Or because so many were throwing out untruthful facts about steroid side effects , and /or general use. Mainly because MTV took this popular topic and used it as a platform to further these bullshit myths, but tried to make it seem like they were neutral and had no opinion about this topic, but this showed to be untrue. At least if…
The actual salads themselves aren’t even particularly unhealthy. They’re pretty much fine. Now, the dressing on the other hand, is not only sugar and fat laden, but also contains multiple colouring and additives, which, in all honesty, just cannot be good for your body. You’re probably better off eating a big mac.
Method 2- The Cunningham Equation. As you’ve probably guessed, there’s some weak points to the above method. Namely the fact that it doesn’t actually take into account your food choice, your exercise schedules or anything like that. Obviously if you have a big body, but are not fat, the above method is awful. It’s downfall is similar to the one of BMI measurements. I’m not going to go into detail about this method right now (it’s long), but make sure you search around for it, or (hopefully), I’ll put up and article about it sometime. People seem to believe that…
Shaquille O’Neal (C) for the Cavaliers is going to miss the next game and possibly the game after that one. He has already missed three games this season, because of injuries. This time around it’s his shoulder. “Shaq” was just a boy when he was drafted into the NBA. Is his, now, much older body telling him that its time to hang-up and retire his jersey? The legal separation between he and his wife of seven years, may not have the best timing for “Shaq.” My thoughts are….if these injuries continue to plague his close to aging NBA career….well reconciliation…
