Airports all over the country have been very busy this past week filled with NFL free agents seeking out new teams. Although it is an uncapped year, not too many large contracts have been signed, so there probably flying coach. The Cleveland Browns two-headed disaster at QB has been moved this past week and seemed long overdue. Speaking of overdue, Rex Ryan had a successful weight loss surgery performed. LaDainian Tomlinson made up his mind about where to play, but what other minds may have been impacted in the process? Which NFL players won’t need a return flight and which…

Over the last few months I have come  into some ugly situations, because of scammers and blackmailers. This gets me soooo pissed, it is like these people are dropping a DEUCE on the community, they are the DEADWEIGHT of this community, and I can’t stand for it.  I made a promise to anyone who asks for my help, now I must repay them for this. First I would like to apologize , I was scammed myself , by becoming part of that UBBC.com, which happens to be a David Wayne Pope board,  I was unaware of this until I started…

The Quarterback market in the NFL this season is starting to look untenable. There are too many guys who need homes and not enough spots to go around. I suppose I should rephrase that: There are not enough starting spots to fulfill huge egos. The market is going to get saturated after the Draft because we’ll have to incorporate all the rookie Quarterbacks into the fold. With every team having 3 QBs on the depth chart that equals 96 slots. Unfortunately, only 32 of those spots are for starters. Add to that the bad news that some teams are receiving…

It is nearly a year ago since Liverpool had their little resurrection. Coming out with play not seen since their 90s days, they managed to absolutely slaughter top teams Manchester United and Real Madrid. Just a few days ago, however, they suffered defeat at the hands of lower-level team Wigan, in a humuliating 1-0 loss. Fans were not happy with Liverpool manager, Rafael Benitez. This totals 9 losses since the season start, and now, even though Liverpool have been very supportive of their manager, it seems as if Benitez can do no more. There has seemingly been little to no…

Baseball’s National League is old school in the sense that pitchers still hit for themselves. That is also why the NL average ticket price is considerably lower than the AL. No one wants to see Cole Hamels holding “the wood”, unless it is kindling for a camp fire. The NL recently got the AL’s best pitcher in Roy Halladay. This makes the Phillies strong contenders to go to their third straight World Series. The Cubs set out to win their first World Series since America abolished slavery. What teams will be representing the NL in post season play? Could we…

Josh Neer has been fighting for a good 8 years now. In that time the Iowa native has been fortunate enough to face some of the top lightweights and welterweights around like Spencer Fisher and the brothers Nick and Nate Diaz. He holds notable victories over Melvin Guillard and Ultimate Fighter winners Joe Stevenson and Mac Danzig. Neer hasn’t wasted any time since he ended his third stint in the UFC with recent 1st round stoppage victories against Matt Delanoit and Anselmo Martinez. Less than a month ago, it was announced that Neer would get in the cage against Bellator…

The season has started! The Arnold Strongman Classic took place March 4-7 in Columbus, OH. It’s part of a greater event, the Arnold Sports Festival, which covers everything from arm wrestling to Irish dancing to fencing. I wish I could’ve gone this year. I’m an Ohioan by birth and Columbus is about an hour from my hometown. It’s actually good that I wasn’t planning to go, seeing as how my whole household was sick (I’ll spare you the gory details, but it was ugly). In any case, their strongman competition for pros consisted of five events, and it was a…

One of the greatest things about sports is the memories they give us. Each year in baseball a lot of the same names give us something to remember and each year new player’s break onto the scene with memorable performances. The guy that made baseball special for me was Sammy Sosa. In ’96 and ’97 is when I started to really follow him, but during the summer of ’98 Sosa and Mark McGwire really gave us something to remember. Little did we know that it was more tainted than a Hulk Hogan wrestling match. Who are some of the players…

Let’s do a quick reality check – Manchester United are in over £700 million debt, the average team is blowing 70% of it’s revenue on player’s wages, and more than ever, teams are constantly looking at administration. So why are all these teams on the brink of implosion, and moreover, why the hell aren’t they doing anything about it When I Was A Youth… In the space of just twenty, short years everything about football has changed. The early 90′s were a simpler time – a time where Fulham were still battling it out in Third Division, a time where…
