Viagra Classified as Performance Enhancing Drug
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) proposed to enter Viagra in the stimulant list. Specialists from the agency believe, that the substance sildenafil, presented in Viagra, enhances the blood flow not only to the man’s genitals, but to his muscles as well.
As the written request says, athletes can enhance their performance by taking Viagra. In addition, sildenafil can boost the power of stamina and endurance of heavy physical activities. At the moment a large-scale study is being done intended to study the Viagra effect on the athletes; if the proposal is scientifically supported, it is likely that Viagra will find itself on the WADA Prohibited List.
