Sorry, But Rex Grossman Is The Worst Qb Since Ryan Leaf
I do realize that this is an anabolic steroid blog, and I do apologize to my faithful readers, but I have to get this off my chest. I am a true blue Chicago Bears fan. This has been true since I was 5 years old. I also have to say that we are the best 5-4 team in the league right now. But watching Rex Grossman today brought me to a big conclusion today. That there is a huge chance that every game that Kyle Orton is out we will lose. How the hell do you get to the NFL without the capability of hitting the broad side of a barn with a football? This was a Heisman Candidate in college, and a product of the U of Florida. I watch today as for 52 minutes Rex couldn’t do a single thing right. The opening drive was beautiful and I thought that maybe that time on the sideline taught him something, but I spoke way too soon. Because after that drive, until the drive with about 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter, he under threw receivers, he missed receivers wide open, he stood in the pocket too long, he threw passes into double and triple coverage, while an open Matt Forte stood alone. He does have an incredible arm but has the football savvy of a 3 year old. And yet again next week, if Kyle isn’t ready to go, Rex will get the nod. We do have another QB why don’t we give him a chance, it is nearly impossible he could do worse. I watch as week in and week out the Defense plays there heart out, yes our secondary has suffered some from injuries, but come on. How many times does Rex Grossman get to ruin our season before he gets booted out of Chicago. Man, I love you Lovie Smith but what will it take before you put Rex where he belongs, on the bench. It needs to be done now!!!!!!!
