So You Want To Be A Bodybuilder Part Two

So I left off yesterday with the training regime, which is the the meat and potatoes of bodybuilding, like I mention earlier you live in the gym.  With a good regimen in place, most believe this is where we need to speak of steroids but your wrong.  I feel it is of the utmost importance to get the most out of your natural ability, so a solid 6-9 months of hard training, proper nutrition, and living the dream before you think of steroids.  Before I do indulge the juice standards of a bodybuilder, I want to touch on protein.  Many have their thought on how much protein is supposed to be taken, some say 1-1.5 grams per pound of weight, some say less because it is rough on your kidneys, and some proclaim more.

This is how I see it, we need to compromise with our kidneys, so in the off season we should stick to 1 gram of protein per pound we weigh and the 3 months leading up to the shows jump to 2-2.5 grams of protein ( please drink a lot of water to give your body a break) my thought being that lean mass needs more protein and lean mass is what you need to win a contest.  Ok we get down to a very unregulated area of bodybuilding, and I feel it important to explain that you don’t need to do steroids year round or unreal amounts to get huge, less is more I believe.

In regards to juice a simple cycle to do in bulking season is DP Test Cyp, DP Deca 300, and DP Dianabol.  This is the most well known and best bulking cycle, adding EQ can be added if needed.  The reason I like this for bulking is because it gets results and it isn’t overly harsh on the system.  Deca also keeps your tendons strong, which you will need with the added weight.  Now a friend put this idea in my head and I like it, you don’t need to go 40-50 pounds over your fighting weight to get what you need, if you keep your BF on the reasonable side 20 pounds over is tops needed, but that’s just my opinion.  As for a  good cutting cycle, my favorite happens to be DP Test Prop, DP Tren Acetate, DP Primobolan, and a Halotestin kick start.

Now for beginners I recommend staying away from DP Halotestin and DP Tren Acetate, so for a newcomer go with the short ester Deca NPP and T-Bol as a kick start.  The reason I like this cycle is because it can be a little harsh on the body but it gets the job done in a short time.  When ever doing an oral steroid make sure to use some kind of liver protection like Liv-52, and always get your blood work done and monthly check ups.  I think 12-14 weeks should be sufficient for both cycles, which would just about give you the time on equals time off, 24-28 weeks on and 24-28 weeks off.

The only thing I do recommend is 6-8 months of HGH but that’s for people really trying to go Pro, this allows for more cells in your muscles which increases the mass potential.  So there will be a part three tomorrow.  In the mean time, keep your head up and keep learning.
