    All the players in this list have tested positive for what Major League Baseball deems a performance-enhancing substance. MLB makes a clear distinction between performance-enhancing substances and recreational drugs when they reveal the results to the public as required since 2005. Players who have tested positive for recreational drugs have been omitted.
