Just One Athlete, What Can Be Gained And Lost From Steroids

As you may know by now, I am a very big supporter of the proper and safe use of anabolic steroids.  The potential is unlimited to what can be gained from a well planned cycle.  But I am a pretty honest person so I will be the first one to admit there is a downside, steroids can be dangerous , and so can aspirin if you take enough.  With this I’m going to try to tell both sides and why.  As a NCAA Division 1 athlete ( go figure smart and athletic, just kidding) I know that steroids helped me come into my first season ready to play.  While most freshman come in under weight and plain just not ready for the beating your body will endure, I was 195 lbs, stronger and more vicious then ever before.  Even though I played soccer my new found strength and endurance was quite an advantage.  While the other 5 freshmen were sent off to the practice squad, I was amongst the starters, flourishing to the point I was given my chance to start over an upperclassmen.  Not to spend all of this blog with all my stats and play by play, I stood at the pre-game workout of the 8th game of the season on top of the world.  Mostly because of my years of practice and dedication, partial credit needed to go to the steroids and the 15 lbs I put over the three months leading into our first practice.

My 8th game a.k.a. to me as D-Day, I entered the day as one of the top 5 scorers in the country and I felt like no one could stop me and to some extent, I happened to be right.  I remember the moment like it was yesterday, I came down the middle of the field and made a move to the center of the box.  A bad pass gave the ball to the defender but an even worse first touch gave me the ball by myself.  I made a quick step over move and headed to the right towards the right goal post.  The keeper came on fast but my kick fake which continued into another step over and without hesitation I placed it near post nicely placed for the goal.  Within a breathe of celebration, I felt an explosion from the internal area of my knee.  The very angry defender had spiked me in the back of my knee after the goal, and the rest is up for debate because I have no recollection of what came after.  There was a story that even though parts of my knee were visible, I tried to get up and assault the player that inflicted the injury.  I’m guessing it didn’t go well, and neither did the next month which I don’t remember either.  They had me on more drugs then imaginable, and very possibly the reason I don’t remember.  Once I was coherent, the Dr. explained my soccer career was over, and that it was very possible that added muscle in such a short time could have caused extra strain on my knee, but ultimately is wasn’t whether I would have been injured but to what degree.  So while roids weren’t to blame ( that asshole was) the strain didn’t help.  The point for writing this is to let you know that adding muscle that rapid is great but you have to be cautious and give your body a chance to catch up to your gains.  I also advice that active athletes never use winstrol because it is bad for your joints ( it makes the joints larger but very brittle in the process), and as far as taking test I advise that EQ, Primo, or Deca because it helps with collagen synthesis, to make up for the deficiency that test causes.  This is my story and what happens sometimes, though it is very unfortunate, it is a possibility so be safe and be careful.
