Aldactone is a diuretic used for the shedding of excess water, particularly before a show.
Aldactone active substance is Spironolactone.
This is probably the best known diuretic used. It is more dangerous than people realise, if people would only read the packaging or inserts they would know this. Aldactone is known to cause tumours even at low dosages.
Three dosages are available, as far as I know, These are 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg.
Aldactone must be taken with food or it will not work, it also increases the effects of other diuretics. Aldactone can also cause gynaecomastea (bitch tit).
I reckon this stuff should only be used under medical supervision.
