I normally don’t do the overalll benefits of standard medical use but figured why not… A gentleman wrote this and asked me to post it so I shall:

When some people think of steroids they think only of steroid abusers.

They think of those who misuse the positive effects that steroids can have on humanity.

But if they could look past the follies of steroid abusers, they might be able to see the medical benefits that anabolic steroids provide in the medical community today.

And maybe they might be able to envision the potential that steroids hold for the future.

Despite what some may think, some anabolic steroids are truly beneficial medically.

For example, anabolic steroids enhance and repair body tissue building processes.

That’s how they work.

Because of this property they are sometimes prescribed to anemic persons, and those suffering from extreme weight loss, osteoporosis and some cancers.

Breast cancer symptoms can also be can be subtle and elusive, ignored and easily passed over.

When this occurs, the cancer metastasizes (spreads through the body) and can be difficult to treat.

Cancer treatments, like chemotherapy and radiation, can cause severe weight loss in patients especially Mesothelioma Treatments.

Anabolic steroids can help patients to regain healthy weights and to regain important body tissues.

With a physician’s prescription and proper care, these steroids can actually help to save lives.

Anemia stems from an abnormally low red blood cell (erythrocyte) count.

When red blood cell counts are low, so is hemoglobin, which is responsible for transporting oxygen through the entire body.

Anemic patients also tend to suffer from extreme weight loss.

If supplemental vitamins (usually iron and B12) don’t assist the patient in reaching a healthy weight and energy level, then anabolic steroids maybe prescribed.

With these, patients can reach healthier weights quicker.

Osteoporosis (meaning “porous bones”) is a result of low levels of calcium and other minerals in bones.

Without these, bones become brittle and weak and can break very easily.

Anabolic steroids, when administered to patients with osteoporosis can significantly increase bone mass and may also turn fat tissue to muscle.

With the present success of anabolic steroids for treating breast cancer, anemia, and osteoporosis patients, more research and effort could yield more progress.

In the future, anabolic steroids may be able to help patients suffering from various conditions and illnesses that cause weight loss and tissue damage or corrosion.

Perhaps even those suffering from environmental poisons, showing lead poisoning, mercury poisoning, and mesothelioma symptoms.

may benefit from the administration of anabolic steroids.

Those with severe sports injuries and weakened muscle or tissue may also be able to legally enjoy the benefits of anabolic steroids.

With research and an open mind, steroids may be able to improve the lives of many.

Thank you for that well written piece and please feel free to drop me a line anytime.
